Honoring Energy Efficient Products in 2023

The Energy Efficiency Product Award has 10 brands awarded the Leader Cup. 103 products that meet the certification standards will be given a QR code attached to the highest energy label when circulating on the market. Consumers can identify and look up information on the program's website.

15 projects in the two categories of "New Construction" and "Renovation" were selected to receive the 2023 Construction Energy Efficiency Award. 12 industrial enterprises were selected to receive the 2023 Industrial Energy Efficiency Award. The award also honored 25 individuals who are energy managers with excellent and good achievements in energy management at the enterprise.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trinh Quoc Vu - Deputy Chief of Office of the Steering Committee for Energy Saving, said: This is the 4th consecutive year that the awards have been launched, becoming prestigious awards in the field of energy efficiency. The awards contribute to realizing the goal of achieving 8-10% savings of total national consumption in the period of 2019-2030, while actively contributing to the socio -economic development goals, realizing Vietnam's commitment to implementing the roadmap to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 0 by 2050. After just over 2 months of launching, the awards have received the participation of nearly 100 businesses and buildings with more than 200 energy-saving solutions implemented. The Organizing Committee also received 257 entries from various brands and products competing for the Most Energy Efficient Product award, including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, electric fans, electric motors, household and public lighting products, and boilers. These impressive numbers show that businesses are increasingly concerned about energy conservation.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hiep - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Science and Technology for Energy Conservation and Efficiency - the organization that hosted the awards in recent years, highly appreciated the quality of the entries for this year's awards. Mr. Hiep said: With a large number of entries for the awards, the Organizing Committee classified and evaluated the entries in accordance with the issued regulations and rules. In general, the entries were prepared by the enterprises in detail and clearly with many specific supporting evidences. The members of the Jury were very fair and transparent in evaluating and selecting the most deserving units, products and individuals to be honored at the award ceremony. According to the plan, in the coming time, the Organizing Committee will guide enterprises with outstanding solutions to submit entries for the Asean Energy Efficiency Awards. Within the framework of the National Program on Energy Efficiency and Conservation for the 2019-2030 period (VNEEP3), the Energy Efficiency Award in Industry - Construction Works 2023, the Highest Energy Efficiency Product Award 2023 aims to recognize and honor enterprises operating in the field of industrial production, typical construction works in implementing solutions for energy efficiency and conservation. Thereby, encouraging enterprises to implement advanced management and technology solutions to bring to the market products with outstanding technical features, high energy efficiency, and energy saving.
