On the afternoon of October 23, Vinh Long University of Technical Education held a departure ceremony, sending students to Korea to participate in a training course to prepare for the 2024 World Skills Competition.
Associate Professor, Dr. Cao Hung Phi, Principal of Vinh Long University of Technical Education, said that on July 10, a representative of Samsung Vietnam Group announced the results of the selection of candidates to participate in training for the World Skills Competition 2024. In particular, student Ho Chi Nguyen, Faculty of Information Technology of Vinh Long University of Technical Education is one of two students who meet the conditions and standards and was selected by Samsung Vietnam Group to be trained in Korea with the profession of information technology network system administrator.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Vinh Long University of Technical Education presented flowers to congratulate and encourage student Ho Chi Nguyen before he went to Korea to participate in the training course. In addition, student Ho Chi Nguyen also expressed his gratitude to the school's Board of Directors and teachers, and expressed his confidence and determination when participating in this competition.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Cao Hung Phi congratulated and encouraged student Ho Chi Nguyen and thanked the teachers of the Faculty of Information Technology for their training.
In the World Skills Competition 2024 taking place in France, Vinh Long University of Technical Education will compete in the 4.0 professions, mechatronics, network cable installation and information technology network system administration.
