Vinh Long: Awarding 195 scholarships to Tra Vinh University students

On November 20, Tra Vinh University, Vinh Long province held a meeting to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025); awarded 195 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances with good academic achievements.

Tra Vinh University students received scholarships at the meeting to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day.

At the ceremony, the staff, lecturers and students of Tra Vinh University together reviewed the tradition of respecting teachers of the Vietnamese people, excited about the results achieved in training work in the 2024-2025 school year.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University, informed that over the years, the school has focused on innovating teaching methods; aiming at an open educational ecosystem, serving the community and lifelong learning; at the same time, promoting self-control, quality assurance, scientific research, technology transfer, international cooperation, startups and digital transformation.

Tra Vinh University is a top university in the Mekong Delta region with many programs that have achieved international education quality accreditation according to AUN-QA, FIBAA, ABET standards, including the following majors: Agriculture; aquaculture; veterinary medicine; nursing; Khmer language; business administration; economics ; law, accounting, finance and banking; information technology; master of business administration; master of economic management.

For many consecutive years, the school has been ranked in the top 200 green, sustainable, and environmentally friendly universities by UI Green Metric.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Tra Vinh University has enrolled nearly 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The school currently has more than 20,000 students from provinces and cities across the country and Cambodian international students studying.

From now on, the school will strive to become an advanced and happy university in the digital age; aiming for the core value chain of "Dedication, transparency, creativity, friendliness" for the community.

The school's new PhDs were honored at the reunion ceremony.

On this occasion, Tra Vinh University also awarded 195 scholarships to students with difficult circumstances and good academic achievements, each scholarship worth from 4-7 million VND.
