On the afternoon of June 5, Mr. Vu Viet Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the actual progress and resolved difficulties of the Tay Thien - Tam Son Road Project, the section from Tay Thien to Hop Ly Bridge and the section from National Highway 2C to Van Truc Lake. Accompanying him were leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and localities.

The Tay Thien - Tam Son road project was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to implement in the period of 2021 - 2024. The project has a total length of 14.5km, passing through the communes and towns of Dai Dinh, Dao Tru, Yen Duong (Tam Dao); Hop Ly, Bac Binh, Ngoc My, Van Truc (Lap Thach). The total investment of the project is 375.4 billion VND, of which the capital allocated for the project in 2024 is 66.7 billion VND.
Up to now, the project has completed the work of assigning ownership to households with agricultural land within the scope of the project; the inventory of households with assets and trees on land in the localities has basically been completed.
The project has approved the plan and paid the households a total of 61 billion VND, handed over to the contractor to construct 10 km in the communes of Dao Tru, Yen Duong (Tam Dao) and Hop Ly, Bac Binh, Ngoc My, Van Truc (Lap Thach), route Km4 + 800 - Km9, Km10 + 300 - Km15 + 860.
The project is currently facing some difficulties in site clearance related to the issuance of land prices and payment plans for households; some units and households do not cooperate in the inventory because they do not agree with the asset inventory plan, compensation prices for site clearance and resettlement; difficulties in construction related to the dumping site and organic soil collection, etc.

Concluding the inspection, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Viet Van directed the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to speed up the project construction progress, ensure traffic safety, coordinate with localities to strictly manage and handle waste soil, and ensure environmental sanitation during construction.
The People's Committees of Tam Dao and Lap Thach districts proactively resolved difficulties and obstacles in site clearance; reviewed and surveyed locations capable of receiving fertile soil and landfill land.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment guides localities in determining the price of residential land and interspersed land to develop compensation and site clearance plans; the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development uses the project's organic land to improve rice-growing land.
