VN-Index increased for the third session, 22,000 billion VND was transferred

At the end of today's trading session, VN-Index stopped at 1,291.49 points, up 4.01 points (0.31%); VN30-Index increased 6.78 points (0.5%), to 1,350.85 points. This is the third consecutive session that the stock market has increased. The entire floor recorded 209 stocks going up, 177 stocks going down.

In the VN30 group, the number of codes increasing in price was twice as many as decreasing in price (18 codes and 9 codes). Banking stocks continued to play an important role in supporting the market's rise. Of the 10 codes that contributed the most to the VN-Index with a total of more than 4.6 points, this group had 7 codes.

Of which, HDB contributed the most with 0.77 points; followed by TPB with nearly 0.6 points. However, the largest stock in the market, also a bank, VCB, took away the most points with 0.4 points.

Bank stocks continued to play an important role in supporting the market's rise in the session on September 26 (illustrative photo).

In terms of industry groups, the number of industries with increased scores dominated, in which retail of food and necessities and energy increased by 2% or more.

On the other hand, semiconductors and entertainment media were the industries that decreased by more than 1%.

Liquidity was high with nearly VND22,000 billion changed hands. Foreign investors bought quite strongly. This group bought more than VND2,566 billion and sold more than VND1,606 billion. Banking and securities stocks were strongly collected by this group. Foreign investors net bought nearly VND129 billion of TPB, more than VND105 billion of HDB, more than VND85 billion of VCI...

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, at the end of the session, the HNX-Index increased by 0.08 points (0.03%), to 235.92 points while the HNX30-Index stopped at 518.53 points, down 0.27 points (-0.05%). The total transaction value reached more than 1,100 billion VND.
