On March 12, Buon Don Elephant Festival was held in Buon Don District ( Dak Lak ), with the participation of local authorities, many people and tourists.
The elephant festival has the participation of 6 domesticated elephants in Buon Don district. The elephants are "dressed up" and covered with scarves by the elephant trainers, creating a completely new "appearance".

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Y Si That Ksor, Vice Chairman of Buon Don District People's Committee, said that this year, the activities in the elephant festival were organized simply, aiming at a friendly elephant tourism model.
"Buon Don Elephant Festival is a practical tourism activity to introduce the image and strengths of Dak Lak province in general and Buon Don district in particular; honor the cultural values of the ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands...", Mr. Y Si That Ksor acknowledged.
