On August 4, Dara Daily reported that police in Hua Mak district, Bangkok, requested alcohol and drug tests on singer Peck Palitchoke after he was attacked with a knife by a 21-year-old man at a gas station in Ramkhamhaeng area in the early morning of August 3.
According to police, video footage from the scene shows Peck behaving erratically, climbing on top of the pickup truck, yelling and causing a disturbance. After being approached by the driver and the suspect, the argument escalated into a fight. The suspect then used a 20cm knife to slash Peck's chin, causing him to lose a lot of blood.
The male singer was given first aid at the scene and then transferred to Kasemrad hospital.
The video recorded the male singer's unusual behavior:
The suspect was arrested on the spot, admitted to the act, and was provisionally charged with intentionally causing injury and carrying a dangerous weapon in a public place. If the medical examination results confirm the severity of the injury, the charges will be upgraded.
Authorities are still waiting for the singer to recover to take his statement and summon witnesses, including the truck driver present at the incident.

Peck Palitchoke was born in 1984 and is one of Thailand's most successful solo singers.
He began his entertainment career as an MC for the children's show Disney Club (2002 - 2007). His debut song Mai Me Krai Ru helped him shine in the Thai pop music market.
