The competition and sports festival took place from November 18 to 24. The competition included the following contents: Regular staff work; regular party work, political work; regular logistics and technical work. The contestants were ships of Brigade 169 and Brigade 170, ship captains and political officers.

The ship training competition includes the following subjects: Staff work; Party work, political work; logistics work; technical work; surface ship tactics; weapons; electronic equipment; electromechanical; chemical; command - physical strength. The ship officer competition includes the following subjects: Staff work; Party work, political work, logistics work; technical work; ship tactics; navigation; weapons; information; cryptography; command - physical strength.

Delegates visited the ship and encouraged officers and soldiers before entering the competition and sports festival.

Through competitions and sports events, it is an opportunity to properly evaluate the work of building exemplary regular ships, training work and the results of self-study and professional training of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 1. From there, it aims to continuously improve the quality of training according to the motto "basic, practical, solid" focusing on synchronous and in-depth training; contributing to building a regular, elite, combat-ready unit.
