Navy Region 2 urgently prepares Tet gifts for DK1 platform

The visit, inspection and New Year greetings trip had 2 delegations, including representatives of the agencies: Staff, Politics , Logistics - Engineering of Naval Region 2 and 48 delegates, reporters of central and local newspapers and radio stations.

In addition to inspecting combat readiness, the two delegations brought Tet gifts from the Ministry of National Defense , the Navy, the Command of Region 2, civil and party agencies, businesses and people of localities to give to officers and soldiers on duty at sea, on islands and on the southern continental shelf.

Navy Region 2 urgently transports Tet gifts onto ships

There are 28 agencies, organizations and individuals giving Tet gifts with more than 1,000 packages. The goods and necessities are prepared according to the Ministry of National Defense's Tet standards such as: pork, chicken, sticky rice, dong leaves, green beans, apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, kumquats, jams...

Colonel Do Hong Duyen, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, welcomed and sincerely thanked the special affection of the delegates, reporters, etc., for the ministries and soldiers on duty at sea, islands, and the southern continental shelf on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Tet gifts include more than 1,000 packages, 125 million VND, total value of more than 2 billion VND

This is a regular activity every time Tet comes, spring comes, showing the concern of the Party, State, army, Navy, Navy Region 2 and the affection of the people nationwide for the forces, officers and soldiers on duty in the seas and islands of the Fatherland.

This has promptly encouraged and motivated officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties, work with peace of mind, excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea, islands and continental shelf of the Fatherland.

The trip is scheduled to last 15 - 17 days.
