Naval Region 2 informs more than 9,000 cadres and party members of Binh Thuan about sea and islands

Colonel Tran Manh Chien, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, informed at the conference.

In order to inform all classes of people in the area under its management about the situation of the sea and islands, the Naval Region 2 Command organized propaganda for more than 9,000 delegates who are key officials of the province, provincial and city-level reporters, grassroots propagandists, secretaries of branches and affiliated party committees, leaders of departments, offices, unions, political and social organizations and armed forces units stationed in districts, towns and cities of Binh Thuan province in direct and online forms with 24 connecting points. Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh attended the conference.

At the conference, Colonel Tran Manh Chien, Political Commissar of Naval Region 2, informed delegates about the basic contents of the recent situation in the East Sea, forecasts of the East Sea situation and viewpoints, policies, solutions to fight, directions, and tasks of protecting sea and island sovereignty in the coming time; the content of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Navy; the core role of the Vietnam People's Navy in general, and Naval Region 2 in particular, in the task of protecting the sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Conference scene

Through the propaganda content, it contributes to supplementing and raising the awareness of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province about the position, role, functions and tasks of the Vietnam People's Navy; grasping and understanding the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws in protecting the sovereignty of seas and islands, while raising awareness and understanding in the fight against and refuting false information about Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.

Strengthening coordination and cooperation between local authorities and the Vietnam People's Navy in general and the Naval Region 2 Command in particular in building safe areas and contributing to firmly protecting independence, sovereignty, sovereign rights, and national jurisdiction at sea, as well as raising vigilance against plots and sabotage actions of hostile forces, luring, inciting, and sabotaging the Party, State, and socialist regime, successfully completing the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
