With the theme "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace", the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 widely deployed to all officers and soldiers to raise awareness and responsibility for occupational safety and health work.

Colonel Nguyen Duc Hieu, Deputy Commander of Coast Guard Region 3, spoke at the rally.

In the past time, the Party Committee and Command of Coast Guard Region 3 have led and directed the serious implementation of Directive No. 59/2005 of the Minister of National Defense ; included the content of occupational safety and health in resolutions at all levels; developed specific, comprehensive implementation plans, close to the unit's reality. Propaganda and education work is organized regularly with many appropriate forms.

100% of officers and soldiers are trained and disseminated occupational safety and health regulations. Training tasks, live ammunition firing, transportation of weapons and technical equipment are all absolutely safe, with no serious occupational accidents occurring. Occupational safety and health work is closely linked to the Victory Emulation Movement, the 50 Campaign and activities to build a disciplined technical system.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Duc Hieu emphasized: In the context of increasingly modern weapons and technical equipment, occupational safety and health work is of special importance, ensuring the health of soldiers, safety in training, and combat readiness; at the same time improving the quality and efficiency of task performance.

Units in the whole region need to continue to thoroughly grasp and enhance the responsibility of Party committees and commanders, promote propaganda and practical training; strengthen inspections in high-risk areas; link occupational safety and health with emulation movements, take care of soldiers' health, and ensure a safe and effective working environment.
