Over the past 10 years, the Party Committee, the Air Defense - Air Force Command and Party committees and commanders at all levels have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented directives, plans and instructions from higher levels; taken many positive and creative measures in leading and directing the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo (Directive 05), Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission, the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period, associated with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII, XIII) on Party building and rectification. Party building work continues to go into depth. The effectiveness of the staff work, leadership and direction of Party committees and commanders at all levels has many new breakthroughs, the quality of organizing and implementing tasks has been significantly improved.

Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, delivered a speech directing the conference.

Through the promotion of Directive 05, many typical examples have emerged with the characteristics of the qualities, bravery, personality, and culture of Uncle Ho's soldiers. In the past time, 18,550 collectives and 192,300 individuals have been awarded in the Emulation Movement to Win, in carrying out campaigns and tasks, making an important contribution to building a "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern" Army Corps, firmly managing and protecting the sky, borders, and sacred sea and island sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Delegates discussed and evaluated the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo , Resolution 847 of the Central Military Commission, the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period, which achieved many positive results, contributing to spreading Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style to all activities of collectives and individuals; maintaining and promoting the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the elite Air Defense - Air Force soldiers.

Many practical results have contributed positively to building a strong Service, meeting the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

To continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the spirit of Directive 05 in the next period, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp the directive documents of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics. Party committees and commanders at all levels in the entire Service need to concretize Directive 05 into action plans and programs suitable to the characteristics and tasks of each unit. Continue to innovate the content and form of ideological, moral and lifestyle education among cadres and Party members. Promote political and ideological education, strengthen the organization of political activities, forums, seminars, and competitions to learn about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and his ideological, moral and lifestyle values. Combine traditional education and legal education with setting typical examples in performing the task of protecting the Fatherland's airspace.
