Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Ngoc, Director of Military Hospital 16, said that “Tet tree planting” is a meaningful movement initiated by President Ho Chi Minh with the profound message “For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people”. This is an activity with traditional national significance, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of each of us to the community and the environment, contributing to responding to climate change - an urgent global issue.

With the theme “Solidarity, for a green world ”, right after the launching ceremony, comrades in the Party Committee, Board of Directors of Military-Civilian Hospital 16, together with officers, doctors, nurses, staff of departments and divisions, planted many new types of trees in the hospital campus, including Lagerstroemia, Royal Poinciana, and Euphorbia hirta.

The tree planting festival contributes to raising the responsibility of all hospital staff in tree planting and environmental protection. At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness and consciousness of medical staff, patients and relatives to preserve and protect the landscape.

In addition to the function of examining and treating soldiers and people in the project area of ​​the Corps, the Hospital also focuses on performing well the mass mobilization work, which is recognized and highly appreciated by the local Party Committee and government, leaving good feelings in the hearts of the people.
