After listening to the report on the training and joint exercises of the 4th Engineer Team, Major General Tran Trung Hoa requested the unit to organize training close to the practical situation of the United Nations Interim Security Mission in the Abyei region (UNISFA), in a multinational international working environment, the security situation in the area is complicated; it is necessary to overcome the difficult conditions, limitations in the quantity and type of equipment to organize training on suitable equipment, as close to the practical tasks in the mission area as possible, to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness of training.

The commanders of the Engineering Corps observed and inspected a number of technical engineering practice drills such as construction of field airports, helicopter landing pads, deployment of construction stations far from the unit, and practice handling security and safety situations at the unit.

With the training ground set up meticulously and closely following the reality of the mission, the engineering teams, road and bridge teams, security teams, and logistics-support teams have successfully completed the training items according to the proposed scenario. The training contents are built closely following the practical tasks of engineering expertise and the actual situation at the mission, based on the practical experiences of the peacekeeping engineering teams that have been and are being deployed at the UNISFA Mission.

Although the training period of the members of the 4th Engineering Team was not long, with the determination to complete the mission, overcome difficulties, they have mastered the operation of equipment, engineering expertise as well as handling some situations to ensure security and safety; closely coordinated throughout the training process, successfully completing the mission.
Previously, from May 7 to 19, Engineering Team No. 4 deployed specialized training such as: Construction of field airports, helicopter landing pads, military roads; deployment of mobile repair stations and handling unsafe situations during the performance of tasks, under the guidance of experienced instructors from the Engineering Technical College.

Notably, in the formation of Engineering Team No. 4, there are 45 officers and employees who have participated in performing tasks at Engineering Team No. 1 and Engineering Team No. 2, creating favorable conditions for improving training efficiency, closely following practical requirements of the task.
Speaking at the training ground after the inspection, Major General Tran Trung Hoa praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties to do well in training and achieve good training results. "Through the inspection of the practical tasks of engineering peacekeeping and handling combat situations to protect the unit, it can be seen that the comrades have done a good job of preparing, selecting personnel, overcoming difficulties, promoting a good sense of responsibility, thoroughly grasping the tasks, ensuring compliance with the plan and program", Major General Tran Trung Hoa emphasized.

Major General Tran Trung Hoa requested the unit to seriously learn from the limitations, continue to closely follow the training plan, overcome difficulties, ensure the quality and results of training. Requested the officers and staff of the 4th Engineering Team, according to the assigned tasks, to proactively study the configuration of equipment, especially the security team, to continue to learn about situations arising in the mission's practice to do a good job of preparation and training before deploying to the area. Comrades who have been deployed in previous engineering units and have a lot of experience working in the area, share their experiences with comrades who are deploying for the first time.
The Commander of the Engineer Corps expressed his belief that the 4th Engineer Corps will continue to promote solidarity and overcome difficulties to perform well in pre-deployment training, meet the increasingly high standards and mission requirements of the United Nations, and be ready to depart for international missions in the Abyei region.
