Accordingly, the civil defense, storm and flood response and search and rescue drills in Tam Duong district were held with the theme: "The Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Tam Duong district organized preparations and practiced civil defense, storm and flood response and search and rescue drills".

The drill consists of two phases. Phase 1: Organizing preparations for civil defense, storm and flood response and search and rescue. Phase 2: Practicing natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue, including three training issues: Practicing evacuating people from areas at risk of landslides in Na Khuong village, Ban Bo commune; practicing rescuing people and property swept away by floods on streams; overcoming consequences and stabilizing people's lives.

The district civil defense drill took place in accordance with the order, content, and plan set out, the drill was organized in accordance with the intention of the Drill Command Committee, close to the local reality, ensuring the correct principles and procedures. During the drill, Tam Duong district actively directed functional units in the area, coordinated well in preparing human resources, materials, finance and practicing the drill to ensure close to reality, quality, efficiency, safety, and economy; well applied the 4 on-site motto and ensured absolute safety.

Thereby, contributing to raising the sense of responsibility of local Party committees and authorities in responding to natural disasters. At the same time, strengthen propaganda work, raise awareness of the meaning and content of the drill to the people. The Lai Chau Provincial Civil Defense, Storm and Flood Response and Search and Rescue Drill Command assessed the 2025 civil defense drill to respond to storms, floods, and search and rescue in Tam Duong district as excellent.
