100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press: Organizing a series of commemorative activities worthy of the glorious tradition

At the meeting, the representative of the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee for the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (Organizing Committee) reported on the organization of a series of activities to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

The series of planned activities include: The 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and receiving the Ho Chi Minh Medal; a conference of Party and State leaders to meet and commend outstanding journalists; a national scientific conference "100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation"; a photo exhibition "Achievements of 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press"... Specific tasks have been agreed upon and assigned to agencies and units, and the implementation progress has been clearly defined.

Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is a particularly important milestone for Vietnamese revolutionary journalists.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Vietnam Journalists Association has closely coordinated with relevant units to implement activities assigned by the Steering Committee. Up to now, the basic tasks have been completed on schedule; activities within the framework of the celebration will be organized solemnly, on a large scale, and at the right level.

Concluding the working session, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and related activities are a series of important and meaningful professional socio-political events not only for Vietnamese revolutionary journalists, but also an important socio-political event for the country.

Therefore, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that the organization of the celebration and activities must be carefully and thoroughly prepared with a high sense of responsibility; agencies and units must closely coordinate to ensure that the celebration and related activities are organized solemnly, practically, meaningfully, emotionally, worthy of the glorious tradition of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.

Acknowledging and appreciating the preparations for the series of commemorative activities that basically ensured progress and were on schedule, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission basically agreed with the contents of the work progress report prepared by the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee of the commemorative event.

Emphasizing that there is not much time left until the anniversary, while there is still a lot of work to be done in organizing the event and it needs to be done immediately, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that agencies, units and members of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the anniversary continue to coordinate closely and carry out well the assigned tasks./.
