City leaders listen to citizens' petitions

Citizen reception sessions are organized in person and online, connecting to points at the People's Committees of districts and towns - where citizens come to make recommendations and proposals.

At the meeting, nearly 30 citizens participated in giving their opinions and feedback. Many opinions of citizens related to the land sector were recorded, mainly focusing on the following contents: Proposals for granting resettlement land, granting land use right certificates, compensation for land and assets on land, proposals for opening public roads to residential areas, feedback related to illegal house expansion, etc.

Receiving each case, the city leaders and representatives of relevant departments, agencies and sectors listened, answered, clarified and provided specific instructions on each content of citizens' recommendations and reflections. At the same time, they directed the competent authorities to focus on verifying and reviewing according to their authority, ensuring publicity, transparency and objectivity, in the spirit of respecting the law and the legitimate rights of the people.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized: the response documents must clearly state the legal basis, and at the same time provide specific and detailed instructions on the next procedures for people to follow. In addition, the city leaders required the complaint handling officers to proactively go to the field, review the records, and clearly understand the details of the case in order to come up with a reasonable and thorough solution. The resolution process must ensure the right progress, with a decisive, conclusive, reasonable, and legally based response.
