Hoan Kiem District gives computers to poor children to help them overcome difficulties

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Kiem District, Truong Thi Thanh Nhan, said that from the beginning of 2025 to now, the district has awarded 796 gifts with a total amount of more than 1.69 billion VND to the following subjects: near-poor households, households escaping near-poverty, households, children, teachers, staff and students.

On the occasion of "Action Month for Children" in 2025, many meaningful gifts with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND were presented to promptly encourage students to overcome difficulties in their studies and children in especially difficult circumstances.

This activity demonstrates the district's concern for students and children in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of "Children's Day June 1".

Specifically, the district has awarded 21 laptops to disadvantaged students with excellent academic achievements, with a total value of VND 243,471 million; supported 100 cases of children with especially difficult circumstances with cash and gifts, worth VND 180 million.

In addition, the district also donated 1,000 notebooks to students of Phuc Tan Primary School and Chuong Duong Primary School. The total support fund for this period is more than 433 million VND, taken from the Fund for the Poor of Hoan Kiem District and socialized sources from units and benefactors.
