Adding nearly 15 trillion VND to solve policies for officials when restructuring the apparatus

The Prime Minister decided to add nearly 15 trillion VND to resolve policies for more than 13,000 people when implementing the apparatus arrangement.

On the afternoon of May 22, the Ministry of Finance announced that on May 19, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 974/QD-TTg supplementing the regular expenditure estimates of the state budget in 2025 for ministries and central agencies (phase 3).

Accordingly, the Prime Minister has decided to add 14.94 trillion VND to resolve policies for 13,168 people according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP, from the adjusted and supplemented central budget estimate in 2025 to pay for regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers when implementing the arrangement and consolidation of the apparatus.

Of which, the Ministry of Finance was allocated the largest budget, up to more than 11,407 trillion VND to implement policies for 10,444 people. In addition, the Supreme People's Court was allocated nearly 1.2 trillion VND to pay for 879 people...

The Prime Minister requested ministries and central agencies to take full responsibility for managing and using the allocated funds to ensure correct payment to the right subjects, policies and regimes according to the provisions of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP, Circular No. 07/2025/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance and guiding documents of the Ministry of Home Affairs, to avoid loss, waste, negativity and complaints.
