Confident on the development journey

78 years ago, on September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia. It was a momentous event, a brilliant milestone in the heroic history of building and defending the nation.

From the dark night of slavery, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the entire nation has “rose from the mud and shone brightly!”, overthrowing the colonial and feudal regimes, taking control of the country and its destiny. The Declaration of Independence of the new Vietnam declared to the whole world the desire for peace, the right to freedom and independence, and affirmed the determination to protect that freedom and independence. The immortal and everlasting value of the Declaration of Independence, along with the history of the nation, has become the guiding light for our people in the struggle for national liberation, national unification, and the building of socialism in Vietnam.

Since the fall of the August Revolution in 1945, the Vietnamese people have gone through two sacred resistance wars against the French colonialists and the invading American imperialists, suffering great sacrifices and losses. With the strength of great solidarity and the indomitable spirit forged over thousands of years, under the leadership of the Party, the entire nation has overcome the rapids of history, defeated brutal enemies, and achieved many glorious feats.

Promoting the tradition of ardent patriotism and the spirit of uprising of the August Revolution, our people have been steadfast in joining hands and solidarity to overcome all difficult challenges, steadily moving forward on the path of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. After more than 35 years of implementing the renovation process, Vietnam has achieved many great achievements in the socio-economic fields, enhancing its position in the international arena.

Along with the country's development and integration process, Dak Lak province is striving to overcome all difficulties, promote potential advantages to turn aspirations into reality. Dak Lak today is a land rich in cultural identity of the community of 49 ethnic groups living together, with many key industrial crops, many agricultural products reaching the global market, a bright spot of the country in developing renewable energy, high-tech agriculture...

The Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province are striving to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals, maintain security and defense in an area of important strategic position. With the high determination of the entire political system and the spirit of solidarity, we believe that we will continue to achieve great achievements, building our province to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and unique.
