In particular, it encourages research and innovation cooperation among government policymakers, government agencies, research organizations, higher education institutions, companies and enterprises of all parties, to support the digital transformation process, promote innovation in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general.
According to Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, after signing the MoU, the UK, through the British Consulate General, will prioritize cooperation with the city government in the following areas: Digital transformation; Smart city technology; Financial technology (fintech); Transformation technology; Health care technology (healthtech); Digital medical solutions;...
Regarding resources to implement the MoU, the parties agreed to rely on the ability to have sufficient and appropriate funds of each participating party; At the same time, the parties also agreed on confidentiality and intellectual property during the implementation of the MoU to ensure compliance with national laws and international commitments.
