Colonel Trinh Xuan Tung sent best wishes to the officers and soldiers of ship 637 and their families on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025; sharing the difficulties and hardships of the officers and soldiers when performing the duty of being on duty at sea during Tet in harsh weather conditions, storms, and far from their families.

"Tet is a sensitive time, when situations are likely to occur. Officers and soldiers on board need to uphold their sense of responsibility, actively patrol, observe and detect targets, not to miss, be passive, or surprised, and be ready to successfully handle all situations, contributing to firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland so that people can celebrate Tet in peace and happiness," Colonel Tung emphasized.

Major Nguyen Cong Bang - captain of ship 637 - said this is the second consecutive year that ship 637 has carried out patrol and duty missions at sea during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.

"I, as well as the officers and soldiers on board, would like to send our sincere thanks to the Commander of Naval Region 5 Command.

"Although they cannot celebrate Tet with their families, the officers and soldiers of ship 637 are all at ease in their work, clearly identify their responsibilities, enthusiastically compete to achieve results, and are determined to complete their assigned tasks well," said Major Bang, on behalf of the officers and soldiers on the ship.

On this occasion, the Command of Naval Region 5, Brigade 127 and Squadron 511 presented gifts to officers and soldiers of ship 637 to make the Tet holiday at sea more meaningful and complete.
