Bang Thanh Commune: Ensure progress of temporary house demolition according to regulations

On the morning of August 4, Comrade Dam Quang Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province, and the working delegation had a working session to grasp the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Bang Thanh commune, Thai Nguyen province.

The delegation worked with leaders of Bang Thanh commune.

At the working session, the delegation listened to local leaders report on the implementation of support for temporary and dilapidated houses in the commune.

Accordingly, Bang Thanh commune has a total of 349 households subject to the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses. Of these, 22 households will not build houses in 2025, while 327 households have started construction before July 31, 2025. To date, 188 households have completed construction and 139 households are under construction.

Regarding disbursement progress, the National Target Program (NTP) for sustainable poverty reduction reached 52%; the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas reached 48.2%; support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses of the remaining poor and near-poor households reached 50.3%.

The working group inspected the actual progress of the house construction of Mr. Hoang Van Che's family, Khuoi O, Bang Thanh commune.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Dam Quang Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized: Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is an important and practical political task, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people. Therefore, it is recommended that the Party Committee, the government, and the Fatherland Front of Bang Thanh commune continue to focus on reviewing and accurately reporting on the beneficiaries; at the same time, mobilizing forces to ensure the progress and quality of the project, completing the program before August 15, 2025.

During the working program, the delegation directly inspected the progress of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in some households in Khuoi O village; visited and encouraged disadvantaged households eligible for support to build and repair houses in the locality.

Dung Tan Company Limited sponsored Bang Thanh commune to remove temporary and dilapidated houses.

On this occasion, representatives of Dung Tan Company Limited also presented 120 million VND in sponsorship to Bang Thanh commune to carry out the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
