Chau Thanh commune focuses on building smart and modern new rural areas

On the afternoon of August 7, Comrade Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the People's Committee of Chau Thanh commune to survey the socio -economic development situation and the operation of the 2-level local government model.

At the meeting, the leader of Chau Thanh Commune People's Committee said that after the merger, the commune's political system was consolidated and operated effectively, contributing to maintaining stable economic growth. The fields of industry, trade, services, and agriculture were well exploited; culture - society, national defense - security and social security continued to receive attention. The Commune Public Administration Service Center received and processed 1,232 records, of which 970 records were received online, accounting for 78.7% of the total number of records.

Chau Thanh commune proposed the province to support in solving difficulties related to finance, resettlement, school facilities, healthcare , implementing new rural criteria...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh highly appreciated the efforts of Chau Thanh commune after the merger, especially in perfecting the organization and effectively operating the two-level local government.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the commune to continue promoting administrative reform, coordinate with departments and branches to remove difficulties, promptly resolve issues of concern to the people. Focus on developing sustainable agriculture, improving the quality of OCOP products, investing in irrigation, implementing well the targets on vocational training, creating jobs, increasing income, aiming to build a smart and modern new rural commune.

Review and arrange the right job positions, improve staff capacity, maintain regular meetings and develop work plans according to the motto "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities", towards modernizing the public administration center. Strengthen propaganda, create consensus within the Party Committee and the People, towards the 1st Party Congress of the Commune, term 2025 - 2030, building Chau Thanh commune to develop civilized and modern.
