Cu Jut Commune strives to become a ward by 2030.

The Congress was attended by 250 official delegates representing 1,409 party members in the entire Party Committee. Attending the Congress were member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Cu Jut Commune is a new commune-level administrative unit of Lam Dong province, arranged from 4 previous commune-level administrative units including: Ea T'ling Town, Tam Thang Commune, Truc Son Commune and Cu K'nia Commune. Cu Jut Commune has a total area of 10,438 hectares, a population of nearly 48,900 people. The commune Party Committee has 81 affiliated organizations and 1,409 party members.

During the 2020 - 2025 term, Cu Jut commune has completed 12/12 socio -economic targets with many targets exceeding the plan. The economy has grown quite well, with an average income of 65.3 million VND/person/year. Infrastructure for transportation, electricity, water, health care, and education has been invested synchronously.

The poverty rate has decreased rapidly, and social security has been ensured. Party building, administrative reform, and digital transformation have made much progress, contributing to maintaining national defense and security and creating a foundation for sustainable development.

Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, Cu Jut commune aims to become a ward and a key area for socio-economic development of the province by 2030. The commune Party Committee sets the main targets including: Increasing budget revenue by an average of 8%/year, increasing total product value by an average of over 10%/year, average income reaching 80 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate reducing to less than 1.5%...

To realize the above goal, Cu Jut identifies key tasks such as: Developing high-tech agriculture, promoting processing industry, strengthening land management, and protecting the environment. The commune focuses on completing Cu Jut urban planning, continuing to build a streamlined, effective, and efficient political system, and promoting administrative reform and digital transformation.

The Party Committee of the commune identified three breakthroughs: Strongly mobilizing resources to develop infrastructure, develop industry, trade - services associated with eco-tourism potential and administrative reform - digital government to serve the people.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen praised the outstanding results of the locality in the past term. After the administrative unit arrangement, Cu Jut commune needs to quickly stabilize the organization, promote the spirit of solidarity, and build a streamlined and effective government.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen also requested that the commune focus on social security, cultural and educational development, improving the capacity of cadres, maintaining and strengthening national defense and security. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Cu Jut commune will soon complete the goal of becoming a ward before 2030, making a worthy contribution to the overall development of the province.
