The first commune in Quang Binh province to achieve new rural model, people's income 61 million VND/person/year

Bac Trach Commune (Bo Trach District) is the first commune in Quang Binh province to reach the model new rural commune finish line.

On January 5, the People's Committee of Bo Trach district (Quang Binh province) held a ceremony to announce Bac Trach commune meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023 and model new rural commune in 2024.

In particular, Bac Trach is the first commune in Quang Binh province to reach the model new rural area finish line.

At the ceremony, representatives of Bo Trach district (Quang Binh province) announced the decision that Bac Trach commune will meet advanced new rural standards in 2023 and model new rural commune in 2024.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Bo Trach district and the People's Committee of Bac Trach commune for their outstanding achievements in the movement to build advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vui - Chairman of Bac Trach Commune People's Committee (Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province) said that Bac Trach was recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.

Immediately after that, the local government continued to build and consolidate 19/19 criteria for advanced new rural areas in a sustainable direction and perfect the model new rural criteria.

Regarding the average income per capita criterion, the commune reached over 61 million VND/person/year.

Regarding the criteria of having at least one smart village model, Bac Trach commune selected village 4 to build the model. Up to now, village 4 has met the set criteria, with 100% of households having 3G/4G mobile network, having an effectively operating community digital technology team, having a camera system at public places connected to the commune's camera system...

Besides, the criteria on security and order are also well implemented by the commune, and have been commended by all levels for many consecutive years.

Thanks to the good implementation of the set criteria, in September 2024, Bac Trach was the first commune in Quang Binh province to reach the model new rural area finish line.

In the coming time, Bac Trach commune will strive to continue to maintain and enhance the value of the criteria of a model new rural commune; strive to achieve a smart new rural commune by 2025 and operate effectively on a digital technology platform, with 2-3 more model residential areas and smart villages, with an average income per capita of 70 million VND/person/year.
