At the conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Doai Phuong Commune, Tran Anh Tuan, reported on the progress of the project's compensation, support and resettlement. Accordingly, the project to build technical infrastructure for Son Dong Industrial Park covers an area of 72.9 hectares in Tan Phu village (along National Highway 21A); the total investment is 1,211.2 billion VND.

The project was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 2791/QD-UBND dated June 26, 2020. The order and procedures for compensation, support, resettlement, and land recovery for national defense, security, and socio -economic development for national and public interests shall comply with the provisions of Article 87 of the 2024 Land Law.
The project contributes to increasing the value of industrial, commercial and service production, promoting the shift of local economic structure towards industry - service - agriculture in Doai Phuong commune.
When put into stable operation, the industrial production value is estimated to reach 3,000 billion VND/year; the annual local budget revenue is expected to reach 150-200 billion VND, creating direct jobs for 3,500-5,000 workers and 1,000-1,500 indirect workers in ancillary services such as transportation, supply of raw materials, meals, housing, machinery repair; helping to increase consumer demand, housing, medical services, education , promoting investment in housing and local social infrastructure such as: medical facilities, schools, supermarkets...

There are about 900 households, individuals and 1 organization whose land must be cleared for the project. Phase 1 will clear the land for 223 households, individuals and 1 organization with a total area of 13.8 hectares.
The People's Committee of Doai Phuong commune chaired and coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Economic Department, the Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board of Doai Phuong commune and the leaders of the villages: Tan Phu, Tan Phuc, Dai Son, Tay Ninh, Khoang Sau, Thong Nhat, Van An, Trung Tam to organize a meeting with the people, handing over land recovery notices to households, individuals and organizations whose land was recovered to implement the project; 114/223 cases received land recovery notices.
The implementation process still faces difficulties because most households and individuals whose land is recovered for the project do not clearly understand the legal basis for project implementation. Many households believe that this is not a project implemented by the state to recover land. Although the Commune Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board has explained the regulations, compensation policies and support when the state recovers land, households still request to agree on compensation prices for land and assets on the land.
At the conference, representatives of households and individuals whose land was recovered expressed their opinions on land compensation prices, resettlement work, handling of interlaced land, etc. The opinions were answered, analyzed and clarified by the leaders of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune so that households could understand the land recovery policy, compensation policy, support for site clearance and resettlement implemented according to regulations. On that basis, creating consensus among the people when implementing the project, for the purpose of socio-economic development, national and public interests, etc.
