Khoai Chau Commune: Funding and handing over gratitude houses

On the morning of October 21, the People's Committee of Khoai Chau commune organized a fund-raising ceremony and handed over a house of gratitude to Mr. Lai Van Du's family in Ngoc Nha Thuong village (Khoai Chau commune).

Khoai Chau commune leaders symbolically presented 250 million VND and flowers to congratulate Mr. Lai Van Du on the inauguration day of the gratitude house.

Mr. Du is a war invalid and currently lives alone. Due to difficult living conditions, Mr. Du has to live in a small, dilapidated house that has not been rebuilt yet.   Faced with the above situation, through the "Nguyen Thi Minh's Charity Fund", the local government surveyed, guided and carried out procedures for Mr. Du to receive support of 250 million VND from Ms. Minh's family to build a house.   After nearly 4 months of construction, the house with an area of ​​over 60 m2 was completed.

Khoai Chau commune leaders and Mr. Lai Van Du's teammates were happy on the inauguration day of the gratitude house.

It is known that from July 1, 2025 to now, Khoai Chau commune has mobilized organizations, units, and philanthropists to support the construction of 6 houses for families of meritorious people and families with difficult housing circumstances in the commune with a total value of 1 billion 126 million VND.
