At 20:54, July 19, 2025, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 09/TB-NMNN dated July 19, 2025 from Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company regarding the discharge of water from Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir.

To ensure the safe operation of water discharge from Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin and the hydrological situation at the project, Nam Mo and Nam Non Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to discharge water from Ban Ang Hydropower Reservoir as follows:

Estimated time of water discharge: 01:00 on July 20, 2025. Total expected discharge flow is about ^200m3 /s to ^500m3 /s (including discharge through spillway gates and generator sets).

The expected time to completely discharge water through the spillway is when the water flow into the lake is less than the power generation flow through the generators.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs the People's Committee of Tuong Duong commune and heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors to notify authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the downstream area of Ban Ang Hydropower Plant to know and carry out necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the People./.
