FOCUS ON DEVELOPING KEY PRODUCTS
According to the People's Committee of Tan Khanh Trung commune, in recent times, the locality has restructured the agricultural sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development of the following industries: Pangasius, fruit trees, flowers, ornamental plants, water chestnuts; focusing on implementing models of agricultural restructuring towards gradually reducing ineffective crops, and introducing high-yield, high-quality crop and livestock varieties into production.
Regarding the commercial pangasius industry, Tan Khanh Trung commune currently has a commercial pangasius farming area in the alluvial area in Hung Hoa hamlet and Tan Binh hamlet of about 50 hectares and the commercial pangasius farming areas are focused on investing in pond infrastructure, wastewater treatment systems, complying with international standard farming processes, well meeting export needs.

| In recent times, the tra fish industry has been one of the four main industries of Tan Khanh Trung commune. | 
As a commercial pangasius farmer, Mr. Do Chiem Tan, residing in Tan Khanh Trung commune, has recently focused on developing market-oriented production. Mr. Tan said: “Since linking up with businesses, the facility has complied with international standard production processes from raw materials to product output. Since then, the facility’s commercial pangasius products have increasingly gained prestige and trust with businesses through increasing orders.”
Regarding the fruit industry, the whole commune has a total fruit tree area of about 915 hectares; including: Mangoes of all kinds about 447 hectares; jackfruit about 165.5 hectares, durian about 80 hectares and the remaining area is other fruit trees. In particular, the locality has formed 2 mango growing area codes in Khanh Nhon and Khanh My B hamlets with a total area of more than 20 hectares, serving export. Farmers are guided to produce according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP processes, ensuring food safety and traceability.
With durian, the locality thrives in hamlets with suitable land conditions. The commune is coordinating with specialized sectors to build codes for durian growing areas to serve export. At the same time, farmers are encouraged to apply water-saving irrigation technology, integrated pest management, and ecological environment protection...
In addition, the whole commune has a total area of about 216 hectares of ornamental flowers, of which annual flowers and ornamental flowers are about 139 hectares; perennial ornamental flowers are about 76 hectares. In addition, the commune's water chestnut industry has more than 75 hectares of area granted a Certificate of food safety production and a Certificate of trademark in 2022.
 Mr. Do Hong Quan, Vice Chairman of Tan Khanh Trung Commune People's Committee said: "Implementing the Party and State's policy on implementing the Project on Restructuring the Agricultural Sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development, the locality proactively and synchronously deploys solutions to develop agricultural production associated with restructuring crops and livestock, applying science and technology, towards ecological, safe agriculture and export agriculture. This aims to effectively exploit land potential in accordance with natural conditions, adapt to climate change, and ensure stable income for people."
 CONTINUING TO PROMOTE THE VALUE OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
According to the People's Committee of Tan Khanh Trung commune, in the coming time, the locality aims to restructure the agricultural sector towards increasing the proportion of commodity value, reducing production costs, promoting the application of science, technology and digital transformation in production management and traceability.
Replicate production-consumption linkage models, especially between farmers, cooperatives and enterprises. At the same time, develop the "4-house" linkage chain (State - scientists - enterprises - farmers).
Along with that, the agricultural production structure has shifted positively towards reducing the area of ineffective rice, increasing the area of fruit trees and aquaculture with high value. Many households have boldly invested in applying advanced techniques, linking with businesses, contributing to the formation of concentrated commodity production areas. Key industries have been in the direction of affirming their brands, increasing income, improving people's lives...

| Farmers in Tan Khanh Trung commune focus on developing a safe durian farming model. | 
As one of thousands of core members of the Farmers' Association of Tan Khanh Trung commune, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, residing in Khanh An hamlet, boldly invested capital to renovate 1 hectare of mixed garden land, growing Mong Thong and Ri6 durian.
Mr. Phong said: “In farming, I apply technical advances to production, prioritizing the use of organic microbial fertilizers. Durian trees grown organically have high yields, are green, are not infected with leaf blight, have large, uniform fruits, and reduce production costs compared to trees grown outside the model.”
Mr. Do Hong Quan added: "In the coming time, the locality will continue to develop ecological and circular agriculture, associated with environmental protection, aiming at the goal of developing green, sustainable and effective agriculture.
Promote support for the development of additional growing area codes, VietGAP and OCOP certification for the commune's key products such as mango, durian, and water chestnut. Along with that, provide technical training to farmers on safe production processes and adaptation to climate change. Strengthen trade promotion and promote the commune's key agricultural products to domestic and foreign markets...
