Tan Phu Commune inaugurated Khuong Ngoc Bridge 16

On May 26, the People's Committee of Tan Phu commune (Chau Thanh) held the inauguration ceremony of the Canal Ranh bridge connecting Tan Phu commune (Chau Thanh) and Tay Phu commune (Thoai Son).

Khuong Ngoc 16 Bridge was built with reinforced concrete structure, 30m long, 3.5m wide, and 3.5 tons in weight. The total cost of the bridge construction was nearly 900 million VND, of which the Van Duyen 57 program of the Van Duyen Charity Group ( Ho Chi Minh City) supported 210 million VND; the rest was mobilized by the Tan Phu and Tay Phu commune authorities from social resources and mobilized people's contributions.

The completion of Khuong Ngoc 16 Bridge creates favorable conditions for people to travel conveniently, trade goods more easily, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of the two localities.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee, District People's Committee and Tan Phu Commune People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to many collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to the development of An Giang province and have made achievements in contributing to social charity work in the area.
