Previously, heavy and continuous rains over the past three days caused flooding in Ea Han village (Yang Mao commune), causing isolation. This area is about 15 km from the commune center and is at risk of landslides.
Due to the strong floodwaters, which made it impossible to use boats or canoes, on the morning of November 18, local authorities mobilized forces and stretched a large cable across the river to help people get out of the isolated area. However, in the afternoon of the same day, heavy rain and strong water flow forced the evacuation to be temporarily suspended.
On the afternoon and night of November 18, the locality, with the support of functional forces, approached the isolated area, brought 180 people out of the danger zone, and transported food and necessities to support 26 isolated households.

Yang Mao commune authorities said that up to now, people have been arranged accommodation at schools and cultural houses of neighboring villages in safe areas.
As of 11am on November 19, the commune was experiencing heavy rain, with rivers and streams pouring in, and floods continuing to rise. In addition, there were many locations at risk of landslides. The commune's forces were still on 100% alert in areas that were at risk of major landslides and isolation.
