Round 2 of the 2023 National Volleyball Championship taking place in Dak Nong has matches in men's group C (Sanest Khanh Hoa, The Cong, Ha Tinh, Long An, Ho Chi Minh City); women's group D (Duc Giang Chemicals, Quang Ninh, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Kinh Bac Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa).
Sanest Khanh Hoa (blue shirt) is the leading candidate for the men's championship.
The remaining groups held in Da Nang include group D for men (Border Guard, Da Nang, Ninh Binh, Ha Noi, VLXD Binh Duong); group C for women (Ninh Binh, Information Command, Geleximco Thai Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, Industrial and Commercial Bank). In each group at each location, the top 4 male and 4 female teams will be selected to have a total of 8 male and 8 female teams participating in the final round, competing for the championship.
Accordingly, the final round will take place from November 16 to 19 in Quang Nam and Khanh Hoa. Of which, 8 teams that have qualified for the women's final round will compete in Quang Nam, including: Ninh Binh, Information Corps - Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc, Duc Giang Tia Sang Chemicals, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Vietinbank, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh. Four quarter-final matches have also been determined, which are the matches between Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa, VTV Binh Dien Long An - Thai Binh, Duc Giang Tia Sang Chemicals - Vietinbank and Information Corps - Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc with Quang Ninh.
Meanwhile, 8 men's teams competed in Khanh Hoa, including: Bien Phong, Sanest Khanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, The Cong, Ha Tinh, Ha Noi, Long An, Da Nang. The quarter-final pairs of the men's tournament were determined as follows: Bien Phong vs Long An, Sanest Khanh Hoa vs Da Nang, Ninh Binh vs Ha Tinh, The Cong vs Ha Noi.
The 2023 National Volleyball Championship has also determined the 4 relegated teams: Ho Chi Minh City men's team, Binh Duong Construction Materials and Ho Chi Minh City women's team, Kinh Bac Bac Ninh.
