Gasoline prices increase across the board, RON 95 surpasses 21,000 VND/liter

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have just adjusted gasoline prices with a simultaneous increase across all products, effective from 3:00 p.m. on February 13.

Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline has a new price of 20,598 VND/liter, an increase of 156 VND/liter compared to the current price. After adjustment, gasoline prices E5 RON 92 is 476 VND/liter lower than RON 95-III gasoline. Similarly, gasoline RON 95-III New price is 21,074 VND/liter, an increase of 146 VND/liter.

The new price of 0.05S diesel is 19,073 VND/liter, an increase of 19 VND/liter. Kerosene has a new price of 19,473 VND/liter, an increase of 59 VND/liter compared to the current price; 180CST 3.5S fuel oil is adjusted to 17,779 VND/kg, an increase of 425 VND/kg.

In this operating period, the joint ministries decided to continue not to set aside and not to use the petroleum price stabilization fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline, RON 95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene and fuel oil products.

According to the joint agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market during the period from February 1 to February 6 is affected by many factors with a main downward trend.

These include new US sanctions on Iranian oil, signs of increasing tension in the Middle East, China's retaliatory tariffs on US goods, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine...

The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to generally tend to increase.

In which, gasoline products all tended to increase by nearly 1% and oil decreased slightly, and mazut oil alone increased by more than 2%.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said the time for petrol traders to adjust is at 3:00 p.m. today, February 13.

The Ministry said that in order to adjust gasoline prices, it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring gasoline supply for the market by gasoline traders, and will strictly handle violations.

Thus, after three consecutive increases and two consecutive decreases, gasoline prices continued to increase slightly. Meanwhile, oil prices, after falling for two consecutive sessions before, increased again.
