(GLO)- The People's Committee of Kon Tum province has just issued a document agreeing with the request of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province on investing in the construction of a road in Roi village (Ia Phi commune, Chu Pah district).
Accordingly, Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee has directed units and localities to inspect, review, advise and agree on Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to build a traffic route in Roi village with a cement concrete structure, 3.5m wide (the route length will be specifically determined during the investment implementation process).

On the other hand, Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Transport and Kon Tum City People's Committee, according to their functions and tasks, to coordinate with departments, branches and localities of Gia Lai province to implement investment procedures, handover, management and use of works to ensure compliance with regulations; in case of difficulties or problems, promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and direction.
Along with that, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh Commune (Kon Tum City) also issued an official dispatch agreeing for the People's Committee of Ia Phi Commune to invest in the construction of culverts and spillways at the border between Ia Phi Commune and Hoa Binh Commune. At the same time, it is requested that during the design and construction process, the People's Committee of Ia Phi Commune perform well the administrative boundary management work to ensure that it does not affect, disrupt, deform, or change the current status of the administrative boundary between the two bordering communes.
Previously, the people of Roi village (Ia Phi commune) wanted the State to support the construction of a spillway across Ia Nui stream to facilitate travel, production and transportation of agricultural products. Especially during the rainy season, the water rises high and flows rapidly, endangering the lives of people when crossing the stream.
