(HGO) – At the Long Tri A Community Learning Center in Long My town, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized the opening ceremony of the 2023 Lifelong Learning Week on October 3rd.

Representatives from departments, agencies, and local governments delivered a message about lifelong learning to students.
This is an annual event aimed at further promoting the learning movement among all segments of the population, helping to raise public awareness of the role of self-learning and self-improvement, and the role of digital transformation in lifelong learning.
The theme for this year's week is: "Building self-learning capacity in the digital age."
The Lifelong Learning Week was organized by all levels, sectors, and localities in the province from October 2nd to 8th, with many outstanding activities such as: launching vocational training classes for rural laborers, organizing training courses for workers at community learning centers, promoting and innovating information and communication activities on mass media, electronic portals of relevant units and organizations, and social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Zalo, etc.).

The provincial library donated 100 books to the Long Tri A commune library.
This is also an opportunity to enhance the infrastructure, equipment, and learning materials for libraries; to open training courses on effective and safe online information searching and utilization for students, trainees, parents, officials, and civil servants, etc.
