Attending the Congress were Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial agencies; leaders of agencies and units; former leaders of different periods and 199 official delegates, representing party members in the ward Party Committee.
An Khe Ward was established on the basis of arranging the entire natural area and population of Ngo May, Tay Son, An Phu, An Phuoc, An Tan wards and Thanh An commune (An Khe town). After the arrangement and merger, An Khe Ward Party Committee has 5 grassroots party committees, 20 grassroots party cells and 34 affiliated party cells with 1,731 party members.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the socio -economic development of An Khe ward has had positive steps. The economy has achieved a fairly good growth rate, the structure has shifted in the right direction: Services account for 48.58%, industry - construction 46.59%, agriculture 4.83%. Total budget revenue reached 135 billion VND, an average annual increase of 6.71%; average income per capita reached 62 million VND/year, an increase of 17 million VND compared to 2020.
Public investment plays a leading role, with a total capital of more than 497 billion VND, implementing 56 key projects, contributing to completing infrastructure, urban beautification, creating an increasingly spacious and modern appearance.
Culture and society have made much progress, art and sports movements are maintained regularly. Education has achieved positive results with 13/14 schools meeting national standards. Health insurance rate reached 94%, poor households decreased to 0.57%. Social security is guaranteed.
The work of Party building and rectification has been effectively implemented, the rate of Party member development has exceeded the target (3.29%); the model of "Four-good Party Cells" and "Four-good Grassroots Party Committees" has been widely replicated. The organizational apparatus has been improved, the capacity of cadres has been enhanced, and the political system has operated more effectively.
Promoting the achieved results, in the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Party Committee focuses on implementing 4 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, demonstrating very high political determination. Of which, the 3 breakthroughs include: Focusing on leadership, directing the concretization and creative application of the content of 4 major Resolutions of the Central Committee, Resolution of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 as a foundation for development; promoting economic and infrastructure development; comprehensive cultural and educational development.
Speaking at the Congress, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Mai Viet Trung acknowledged and commended the achievements that the ward Party Committee had achieved in the past term, and at the same time hoped that the ward would continue to promote the results, affirm the position of "An Khe Ward is the center of economic development on the East-West strategic corridor" and contribute more to the overall development of the province.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, comrade Mai Viet Trung suggested that the Party Committee and the ward government promote the revolutionary tradition, the heroic spirit of the homeland, solidarity, innovation, and determination to build An Khe to develop more and more strongly according to the motto "Solidarity - Discipline - Responsibility - Innovation - Development" to successfully complete all tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress. Promote economic restructuring towards green and sustainable direction; prioritize the development of processing industry, high-tech agriculture, trade - services, eco-tourism. Improve the investment environment, mobilize resources to build modern infrastructure, effective connection.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of personnel for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the An Khe Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Ward Party Executive Committee consists of 22 comrades and comrade Nguyen Hung Vy was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the An Khe Ward Party Committee.
