Earlier, a passenger bus with a license plate from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province was parked in the parking lot of a restaurant on Provincial Road 15 when it suddenly caught fire. The restaurant security guard informed the driver to open the car door and used a mini fire extinguisher to put out the fire but could not control it.

The fire was extinguished but the car was left with only the metal frame.

The fire spread quickly and engulfed the entire vehicle. Many of the tourists ' belongings were burned before they could be taken off the vehicle. Many customers in the restaurant saw the fire and ran outside to prevent the fire from spreading.
The Fire Prevention and Fighting Team of Cu Chi District, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department and the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department dispatched vehicles and officers to the scene to quickly control the fire, but the passenger bus was left with only the iron frame.
