According to the initial investigation results, from 2023 to present, the actual revenue of the cosmetics company under the name of Cun Bong's husband (Vu Nam Phuong) is up to more than 120 billion VND but only declared more than 5 billion, leading to a tax loss of more than 10 billion VND. Before getting into trouble with the law, Cun Bong was not only famous for her image as a modern mother with many children, but also overwhelmed many people when she often appeared next to expensive luxury cars such as Audi, Porsche and Ferrari.
About a decade ago, Cún Bông "caused a stir" in the online community when he shared a photo of himself with a red Audi A5 Sportback worth about 2 billion VND. The car not only appears many times in TikTok clips but is also associated with her daily images such as taking her children to school, walking around town or shopping. This is also considered the beginning of the image of a "luxurious nursing mother" that she pursues. Some time later, Cun Bong continued to attract attention when he appeared with a glossy black Porsche Panamera at a car enthusiast event.
In Vietnam, this car model currently has a starting price of 6.42 billion VND, while the most advanced version can cost up to 13.73 billion VND. Although it is said to be legally owned by her husband, it is Cun Bong who often uses and shares images of driving this car. During the 2022-2023 period, Cún Bông's husband also posted a picture of a black Porsche 911 Carrera S, which is Porsche's outstanding sports car line. Porsche 911 Carrera S costs about 7.6 billion VND in Vietnam. With a 3.0L twin-turbo engine, 450 horsepower, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, with a maximum speed of up to 308 km/h. The peak of the public surprise was when Cun Bong posted a series of photos with a bright red Ferrari California T - a supercar worth no less than 15 billion VND when brought to Vietnam as a private owner. With a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, 552 horsepower, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
The image of an influencer who is not active in the arts or traditional business but driving a Ferrari in the center of Hanoi was once a hot topic of discussion on social media. Currently, the case involving Cún Bông and her husband is still under investigation. From being a symbol of success on social media, the image of a “hot mom of 7 children” is now associated with serious accusations about taxes and finances.
