9 pedestrian bridges connecting to Metro Line 1 stations Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien have been completed, creating convenience for people when taking the train.

On December 22, Metro Line 1 will officially be put into commercial operation. To ensure synchronous operation, the pedestrian bridges connecting the elevated stations of Metro Line 1 have been completed.

9 pedestrian bridges connect to Metro Line 1 station (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) including Thao Dien, Tan Cang, Rach Chiec, Phuoc Long, Binh Thai, High Technology, An Phu, Thu Duc stations and National University station.

According to Dan Viet reporters, the pedestrian bridges have been completed and are ready for Metro Line 1 to officially start operating on December 22.

The pedestrian bridge of Metro Line 1 station is built mainly on Vo Nguyen Giap street (old Hanoi Highway).

Pedestrian bridges help connect stations with residential areas, industrial zones, schools and bus stops.

The use of a pedestrian bridge connecting Metro Line 1 station facilitates people's movement.

The pedestrian bridge is designed similar to the station structure with a steel dome and heat-resistant roofing panels. Flowers and ornamental plants are planted on both sides of the bridge to create a comfortable feeling for passengers when moving.

The pedestrian bridge connecting the Metro station of Ho Chi Minh City National University has also been completed and serves people traveling when experiencing the trial run of Metro train No. 1.

The Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR) said that Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) entered its final trial run with 200 trips/day before commercial operation on December 22. The train began its trial run from December 13 to 21, from 5am to 10pm.

The train departs from Long Binh Depot (Long Binh Ward, Thu Duc City), ending at Ben Thanh Underground Station (District 1) with a distance of nearly 20km. Trains operate every 8-12 minutes, travel time is about 30 minutes and stop time at each station is 30 seconds.
