Seeking opinions from ministries on the project "Construction and Restoration of the Ancient Pho Hien Street"

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong recently signed Official Letter No. 1542/BVHTTDL-DSVH addressed to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Ministry of Justice, requesting their opinions on the Project "Construction and Restoration of the Ancient Pho Hien Street" in Hung Yen province.

Acting on behalf of the Minister and Head of the Government Office , Tran Van Son, on April 4th, Deputy Head of the Government Office Do Ngoc Huynh signed Official Letter No. 2844/VPCP-KGVX regarding the proposal of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province on the Project "Construction and Restoration of the Ancient Pho Hien Street".

The official document states that, considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province in Report No. 21/BC-UBND dated March 4, 2025, on the Project "Construction and Restoration of the Ancient Hien Street" in Minh Khai, Hien Nam, Lam Son, Hong Chau wards and Quang Chau, Hoang Hanh, Tan Hung communes, Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, Justice and other relevant agencies to urgently study the proposal of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province in Report No. 21/BC-UBND dated March 4, 2025.

The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to propose a course of action and specific tasks and solutions for relevant ministries, agencies, and localities in the spirit of "clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear authority, clear timelines, and clear results," and report to the Prime Minister by April 15, 2025.

The Ministries of Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment, and Justice are tasked with proactively studying the recommendations of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, coordinating closely with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and promptly implementing the tasks, ensuring timeliness, effectiveness, and compliance with regulations.

In order to implement the directive of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Official Letter No. 1542/BVHTTDL-DSVH to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and the Ministry of Justice requesting their cooperation in researching and providing opinions on the proposals and recommendations of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province (in Report No. 21/BC-UBND dated March 4, 2025) regarding the necessity of: the policy for implementing the project; flood control and environmental protection; investment capital; investment incentives; and the progress of land clearance according to the state management functions of the Ministries, so that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism can compile and report to the Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that all ministries submit their written comments before April 14, 2025.
