The Investment Promotion Center of Tuyen Quang province has just organized a Week of trade, agricultural products, tourism, investment connecting consumption of products of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas of Tuyen Quang province in 2024, at Hoa Binh Park (Hanoi).
The event has over 100 booths with about 50 enterprises and cooperatives with regional and local products, OCOP products; handicrafts, craft villages; handicrafts, agricultural products, food, cuisine of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in Tuyen Quang province participating.
Director of Tuyen Quang Province Investment Promotion Center Nguyen Tien Hung said: Through the Week, the province wants to create connections between trade promotion activities, investment promotion, promotion, introduction of potential, strengths, economic , cultural, social and tourism achievements, expand joint venture cooperation, linkage between ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Tuyen Quang province with provinces and cities in the country. The province also strives to become a center for providing clean agricultural products and food for the Hanoi market.
Tuyen Quang is a northern mountainous province with 22 ethnic groups living together, the total population of the province is over 812 thousand people, of which ethnic minorities account for 53.7%. From 2021 to present, the province has directed and implemented many socio-economic development programs in mountainous areas. In particular, it has increased the mobilization of social resources to support economic development, stabilize life, build houses for poor households, build concrete roads, support the construction of sanitation works, support loans, breeds, deploy clean agricultural production models, etc.
