After 909 days of repairs, the Nou Camp welcomed Barcelona back to play and the atmosphere became exciting. Barcelona was determined to win all 3 points to regain excitement for the remaining journey.
The home team easily dominated the game. In the 4th minute, Lewandowski took advantage of a mistake by Bilbao's defense to score close to the goal, opening the score 1-0 for Barcelona.

Athletic Bilbao pressed the field and tried to find an equalizer. However, Barcelona's defense played quite solidly, standing firm against the opponent's attacks.
When pushing up the formation, Bilbao exposed gaps in their own half. In the 45+3 minute, Lamine Yamal made a delicate long pass with the outside of his foot, assisting Ferran Torres to escape and face goalkeeper Unai Simon.
The Spanish goalkeeper tried to block the shot, but Torres still coolly finished, bringing the score to 2-0 for Barcelona. In the second half, Barcelona continued to maintain the pressure while the Bilbao players showed signs of losing their composure.
In the 48th minute, Fermin Lopez coolly finished past goalkeeper Unai Simon, raising the score to 3-0. The game was almost decided, as Bilbao was helpless in finding an honorary goal.

Difficulties continued to come to Bilbao, when Sancet received a red card in the 54th minute after a rough tackle. Having one more player, Barcelona played leisurely, they played slowly to preserve their advantage.
In the 90th minute, Lamine Yamal beat a series of Bilbao defenders before passing the ball to Torres who finished close to the goal, completing a double for the Spanish striker. In the end, Barcelona won 4-0 against Bilbao on the day back at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona maintained their 24-year unbeaten run at home in La Liga against Bilbao and temporarily took the top spot from Real Madrid. Both teams are currently on 31 points, but Barcelona have a better goal difference. Real Madrid travel to Elche early tomorrow morning (November 24).
