Yen Bai: Indian enterprises contribute investment capital of over 640 billion VND

Yen Bai - In Yen Bai province, there are currently 6 enterprises with capital contributed by Indian investors operating with a total investment capital of over 640 billion VND. The enterprises operate mainly in the field of mining, processing and trading of minerals.

Enterprises with capital contributed by Indian investors are operating stably in the province, contributing to creating jobs for over 720 local workers.

Of these, there are 2 enterprises conducting mineral exploitation, 3 enterprises processing minerals and 1 enterprise purchasing and trading minerals.

The stable businesses have created jobs for over 720 local workers. In 2024 alone, the businesses contributed over 171 billion VND to the state budget.

In recent times, Yen Bai province has always created favorable conditions for foreign-invested enterprises, including Indian enterprises, to operate in the province. Thereby, not only creating jobs, improving people's lives, increasing local budget revenue but also gradually improving the quality of human resources, strengthening economic diplomacy , and international cooperation with friendly countries.

It is known that in recent times, Yen Bai province has created favorable conditions for Indian enterprises to explore investment opportunities in the province as well as to increase production and business activities in areas where Indian enterprises have strengths such as: mining, processing white marble, producing CaCO3 stone powder, wall putty and Taical plastic granules. The province is also continuing to implement solutions to attract investment, reform administrative procedures, and create all conditions for foreign enterprises, including Indian ones, to invest long-term in the locality.
