Yen My: Investing nearly 80 billion VND to harden canals

Yen My district has over 1.28 km of main river and canal length, serving irrigation and drainage for over 18,600 hectares of agricultural land.

To ensure irrigation and drainage, from 2024 to present, the district has invested nearly 80 billion VND to harden 5.5 km of canals. In early 2025, the district's Irrigation Works Exploitation Enterprise allocated 1.9 billion VND from regular repair funds to repair and overhaul machinery at pumping stations and dredge 9 works with nearly 43 thousand cubic meters of mud and soil on canals and main rivers.
