In addition to the product "Hai Be Delicious Syrup", the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) requests that e-commerce platforms continue to review and remove other products manufactured and distributed by Hai Be Company Limited if they do not have full invoices and documents proving legal origin. The review and handling results report must be sent to the department before June 20, 2025.

The above move was made after the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) recommended that people should not use the health protection food product "Hai Be Delicious Syrup" while the case is being investigated and verified by authorities.

Hai Be delicious syrup was identified as fake.

According to information from Ninh Binh Provincial Police, on June 14, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police initiated a criminal case and prosecuted the accused Tran Dai Phuc - Director of Hai Be Company Limited and Mr. Le Van Hai - owner of TikTok account "Gia Dinh Hai Sen", co-founder of Hai Be Company Limited, for the act of manufacturing and trading in counterfeit goods as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 193, Penal Code 2015. At the same time, they searched the residence, workplace and executed an arrest warrant to temporarily detain Tran Dai Phuc and Le Van Hai.

Authorities have determined that the “Hai Be Delicious Syrup” sold by TikTok “Hai Sen Family” is counterfeit. More than 100,000 Hai Be Delicious Syrup products have been sold to consumers over the past year.

The results of the quality assessment of “Hai Be Appetite Syrup” show that the content of the main substances that make up the product’s effects such as Vitamin A, Calcium, Vitamin C is only less than 70% of the declared content. This is the basis for determining that this is a fake product.

In addition to the above products, Le Van Hai also regularly posts videos selling cosmetics and functional foods on social networking platforms TikTok, Facebook, and the Shopee sales application with millions of followers.
