Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Giap, Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital shared about AI applications in patient support. |
In a year, there are more than 2 million records of information of 2 million outpatients and more than 200 thousand inpatients. From there, a lot of information is received, the figures and data are very large.
Applying this data can help diagnose patients early with AI, detect early signs of disease so that patients can be completely treated, the effectiveness of predicting disease trends, and personalized treatment for each patient will increase greatly.
Training and transferring AI technology to specialized lines will be many times more effective than traditional methods. |
Applying artificial intelligence in disease diagnosis and screening in paraclinical fields, diagnostic testing, and functional exploration helps early detection for fast, accurate results and an overview of the disease.
More broadly, the development and application of Big Data and data banks in research will help treatment activities provide accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments, and update treatment guidelines worldwide.
