1,500 works participate in the Southeast Art Photography Festival

On August 23, in Tay Ninh province, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists coordinated with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province to organize the closing ceremony, award ceremony and opening ceremony of the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival in 2024.

With the theme "Country - People of the East on the path of integration and development", the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival accepts photos from authors from April 30 to July 31, 2024.

After 3 months, there were 1,499 works by 210 authors in 8 provinces including: Ba Ria - Vung Tau , Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh sent to participate.

The jury selected 144 works, including 21 photo sets and 123 single photos by 72 authors to vote for awards.

The Gold Medal was awarded to author Nguyen Kim Hoan (Ninh Thuan) with the work "Light of the Future" (Single photo); the Silver Medal belonged to 2 authors Le Tan Phat (Tay Ninh) with the work "Great festival of Dieu Tri palace - Cultural beauty of Cao Dai religion" (Single photo) and author Dang Hong Long ( Binh Thuan ) with the work "Overhaul of unit S2 - Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant" (Photo series).

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 Bronze Medals, 6 Encouragement prizes and 2 Team prizes.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to the works in the photo marathon contest in Tay Ninh with the theme "Colorful Tay Ninh".

After only 1 day (from August 21 to August 22, 2024), there were 240 works by 84 authors participating. The Jury decided to award the First Prize to the work "Bustling Young City" by author Dinh Le Thai Huy (Ninh Thuan); 2 Second Prizes to the work "Baby's Joy" by author Nguyen Cao Quy (Dong Nai) and the work "Nurturing the Future" by author Nguyen Van Quang (Ninh Thuan).

Immediately after the closing and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee opened the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival Exhibition in 2024.
