Tien Giang: Awarding ceremony of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025

(ABO) At Tien Giang Provincial Library, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Tien Giang Provincial Literature and Arts Association recently held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, Preliminary Round in the province.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism; Huynh Thi Phuong, Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training; Vo Nam Phuoc, Director of the Provincial Library.

After more than 2 months of launching, the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest received a total of 3,933 articles and videos from students of 89 schools across Tien Giang province.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Kim Chi presented awards to the winners.

Through the judging process, the Jury and Organizing Committee of the Contest decided to award 24 individual prizes, including: 3 First prizes, 9 Second prizes, 12 Third prizes. In particular, the Jury and Organizing Committee will select 6 best prizes to send to the Final Round of the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2025.

The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is an activity to arouse interest and passion for reading among teenagers and children, helping them have the opportunity to access good books and meaningful stories, arousing a passion for reading, and spreading the love of reading culture in the community.

Director of Provincial Library Vo Nam Phuoc awarded prizes to the winners.

The contest is a playground for students to meet, exchange and learn from friends who share the same passion for reading, share experiences and valuable lessons from books, thereby spreading the message about the value of reading.
