1,930 billion VND invested in road connecting Khanh Hoa with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan

The project's objective is to complete the traffic system connecting the two mountainous districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh according to the traffic system planning of Khanh Hoa province; create conditions for socio-economic development of the two mountainous districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh in particular and Khanh Hoa province in general, increase the ability to connect traffic and transport goods between regions with Lam Dong province and Ninh Thuan province.

At the same time, strengthen national defense and security in the region, create a mobile and smooth traffic network in all situations to ensure security and national defense; effectively serve the work of patrolling, controlling, managing and protecting forests.

The project is implemented in Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts, Khanh Hoa province with an investment scale of about 56.9 km of grade III mountainous road, design speed is 60 km/h; the section through difficult, rugged terrain, high slope, sharp bends, design speed is 40 km/h; 02 lanes, total width of 9 m, road surface is 6 m wide, 3 m sidewalks on both sides (reinforced sidewalks on each side 1 m).

The preliminary total investment of the Project is 1,930 billion VND, including: Central budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 is 1,000 billion VND; local budget capital is 930 billion VND.

The project will be implemented from 2023 to the end of 2027, divided into 02 component projects, including: Compensation and resettlement support component project and Construction and installation component project.
